This cap is produced from high grade aluminum and the two port fuel input cap offers a simplified solution to the flow of fuel into and out of the fuel water separator. Input and output markings are cast directly into the top of the filter, so there isn’t any misunderstanding as to which direction the fuel should flow in and out of the fuel water separator. This cap does not have a mounting bracket incorporated into the casting, but a separate Fuel Water Separator Mounting Bracket kit can be purchased, or the filter can be suspended between two rigid couplings, which would be part of the fuel plumbing system. The two port fuel cap is made from an aluminum die casting and is sand-polished to give it a professional appearance. The four port fuel input cap offers a variety of configurations for connecting the fuel lines to the fuel water separator assembly. Simple-to-use fuel flow arrows are cast directly onto the top of the cap, indicating which direction the fuel should flow in and out of the fuel water separator assembly. This type of configuration allows users to choose from four different types of fuel line configuration. The four port fuel input cap also has a rigid mounting bracket built right into the cap with two mounting holes. This offers an easy and compact mounting solution when you are determining where to locate your fuel water separator assembly. The Off-Center Drain Bowl with Water Sensor Probe is specifically designed for those applications in which the fuel filtering system itself monitors and reports when the water collection bowl is full. Unlike the traditional off-center drain bowl assembly, this water in fuel sensor bowl assembly has a removable threaded plug, that can be removed and replaced with the water sensor probe. This fuel filter sensor is ideal for uses in outboard marine applications, light industrial machinery, and farm equipment. The bowl is made of a clear, hard acrylic plastic, and the drain plug is made of a high temperature nylon. The drain plug also has a barbed fitting on the end, which is ideal for attaching a drain line to transfer the bowl’s contents to a remote storage container. This fuel water separator sensor assembly is completely interchangeable with all of CFS’s 15, 20, 30, and 40 gph fuel filter water separators, whether you're using a Diesel Fuel Water Separator or an Outboard Fuel Water Separator. The Center Drain Bowl Assembly utilizes an ergonomically designed wingnut-style fuel filter drain plug. This drain bowl assembly is ideal for applications where there is limited working area around the filter. Because of the wingnut design, the drain bowl plug inside your fuel filter water separator can be easily opened and closed by hand, which eliminates the need for additional tools such as wrenches and pliers. The bowl has “ribs” on the side of the bowl to provide additional gripping surfaces, and the drain plug is made of a high temperature nylon and includes a soft rubber seal for preventing unwanted leakage from the bottom of the drain bowl. The sealing components in the Fuel Filter Water Separator will erode and become brittle over time and this will cause your fuel water separator to leak or fail. This is especially true in coastal marine or dry, low humidity environments. Our Gasket and O-ring Replacement Kit is ideal for extending the life of your 10 micron fuel water separator filter. The gasket is a 90 durometer hard rubber material, and the O-ring is produced from durable Buna plastics. If your filter is leaking around the fuel input cap or from the area where the drain bowl connects to the filter housing, it is time to replace these seals.
